Recently, a meeting concerning the implementation of the Preservation and Utilization of Cultural Relics of the Development Plan of Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone was held in Baoji in Shaanxi province by responsible officials from Cultural Relics Management Departments and archaeological organizations of Shaanxi and Gansu as well as the Cultural Relics Departments of Baoji and Tianshui. Participants in the meeting actively discussed to build a base cooperation system showing the historical culture of Chinese Civilization. Besides, in the meeting, Shaanxi-Gansu Cooperation Framework Agreement on Enhancing the Preservation and Utilization of Cultural Relics so as to implement the Development Plan of Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone by the State Council was signed by Bureaus of Cultural Relics of both provinces.

Experts in the meeting deeply discussed on the issues of the protection, research, presentation and utilization of the cultural heritage and cooperation system. The history of Shaanxi was closely related with that of Gansu. Both Guanzhong and Tianshui were the cradles of Chinese civilization and had broad prospect and space in cooperation of the tourism on cultural relics.
