According to the statistics of Xi¡¯an customs, the total value of import and export of Shaanxi decreased by 1.4 percent year on year to US$ 7.398 billion, among which, the export value was US$3.456 billion, down 29.4 percent year on year, the import value was US$3.945 billion, up 51.3 percent year on year, and the trade deficit was US$ 492 million.

In November, the total value of import and export of Shaanxi was US$779 million, up by 19.2 percent year on year. Among them, the export value was US$427 million, up by 6.9 percent year on year, which was the first time to increase this year. The import value was US$352 million, up by 38.4 percent year on year. And the trade surplus was US$75 million in November.

It mainly showed the following characteristics: the import and export value of general trade decreased by 11.4 percent while that of processing trade increased by 41.4 percent. The import and export value of state-owned enterprises decreased by 13.6 percent while the import and export values of foreign and private enterprises increased to US$2.224 billion and US$2.025 billion respectively, up by 18.6 percent and 2.7 percent respectively.

The EU, America and Japan are our main trade partners, with the import and export value of US$1.956 billion down by 0.8 percent, US$1.202 billion down by 8.2 percent and US$0.514 billion down by 23.4 percent respectively. The main products for import and export were mechanical & electrical products with export value of US$1.919 billion down by 12.7 percent and import value of US$2.345 billion up by 42.8 percent, agricultural products with export value of US$0.477 billion down by 30.9 percent and import value of US$26 million down by 37.4 percent, minerals products with export value of US$0.246 billion down by 70.7 percent and import value of US$0.68 billion up by 85.4 percent, and textile products with export value of US$0.22 billion down by 10.8 percent and import value of US$6.98 million up by 70.7 percent.
