On December 29, Wu Dengchang, Vice Governor of Shaanxi province, met with Bosco Foo, Chairman of TYNTKE Corporation, the third largest producer of LED in Taiwan, in Xi¡¯an Sofitel Renmin Square.

Wu firstly expressed grand welcome for Mr. Foo and his group¡¯s visit for investment and seeking cooperation and development in Xi¡¯an. He also expressed congratulations on the foundation of Xi¡¯an TYNTEK New Energy Company located in Xi¡¯an Aviation Base. Wu said that Shaanxi had considered new energy and new light sources industries as the emerging industries, characteristic industries and leading industries, and established specific development plans so as to develop strategic emerging industries. Now it is time to invest to develop new energy in Shaanxi. Moreover, the 3-year development of the Aviation Base provided strong supports for new materials and energy industries. So the mutual cooperation is promising.

Foo thanked the Provincial government for its supports for enterprises. He considered that the prospects of the development of Xi¡¯an were very good. He chose the Aviation Base as the partner because it was an area gathering with Hi-tech industries, especially with new energy and new light sources industries, which were the focus of development in the future. It also made him more confident of the investment.
